Obama vs Obama on Immigration

By Kirk D.

Politicians often contradict themselves, some more blatantly than others, but Obama may be one of the most blatant, especially on immigration.

In 2005 Senator Obama, gave a press conference in which he addressed “undocumented” immigration. He proceeded to discuss the need to “better secure the border” and “punish employers who choose to hire illegal immigrants.”

Sound familiar?

No? Probably because this was the 2005 Obama speaking and not the real Obama we’ve all come to know. He went on to say

“we simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, and unchecked.”

No, this is not Trump speaking; this is 2005 Obama.

This is a far cry from the post-elected Obama on immigration.

For instance, in 2009 Obama’s USDA was caught handing out leaflets in Spanish that encouraged illegal immigrants to apply for tax payer funded food benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which by 2012 cost tax payers $85 billion.

In 2014 Obama’s DHS were caught busing in illegals including over 50,000 unaccompanied children.

Then in 2015 Obama proclaims that helping refugees from Syria is the crux of American Leadership.

And what does 2017 Obama have to say about the current migration crisis?

So far he’s praising the deluge of protests nation wide and falsely alluding to Trump’s executive order as being religiously motivated, despite the fact that the law Trump used to justify the temporary immigration halt was signed into law by Obama himself.

So much for a peaceful transition.
