Dinosaur Lives Matter: Police State in Missouri Shuts Down Parade

Dinosaur March, Kansas City, Missouri

Breaking News from Missouri! In the fight against dangerous rampaging T-Rexes overtaking our urban centers and wreaking havoc with their tiny arms and massive piles of dino-doo, the Police State in Missouri recently shut down a pre-Christmas dinosaur parade organized by Jacob Honnold. (Read more from Fox 2, St. Louis here: Police Shut Down Kansas City Dinosaur March)

Honnold estimates that approximately 100 people may have attended the event dressed up in crazy, oversized dinosaur costumes for the event, and marched for less than a half hour before police swooped in on the scene and ordered the dangerous group of people having fun to STOP or face the full force of the Law. Thankfully no dinosaurs resisted, or else we’d be reading about a second mass extinction. But sadly, according to the Kansas City Star and Fox2 (out of St. Louis), Honnold notes that Police are planning to send him a ticket for his dangerous role in organizing the “second annual March of the Dinosaurs Sunday at the Country Club Plaza”.

Meanwhile, Kansas City Police spokesman Lionel Colon (who shares no relation with any colon cleansing products) said in an email that the crowd associated with the”flash mob” crowd spilled into the street and presented some safety concerns. Because in this day and age, what doesn’t present a safety concern that old John Law can stick you with a fine, jail time, or a belly full of lead?

Lionel also says the event is under review for possible criminal charges. Boo!!! Yes folks…the message is clear. Such activities are “verboten” these days in the so-called “land of the free”.

The Worst Thing About Twitter Censorship is {CENSORED}

twitter, censorship, cartoon, artwork, social media

Social Media Purges? Twitter censorship? Leftist intolerance? After listening to Tom Woods Show Episode 1301 (Transgender Ideologues try to Silence Feminist) and Episode 1302 (Michael Malice on the Continuing Social Media Purges), I had the idea to create the above cartoon. Our cute little twitter bird has now morphed into a monstrous, diseased creature silencing yet another one of it’s victims.

It’s funny, because just the other night we watched “Wreck-it Ralph Breaks the Internet”. It’s a fun movie, but the depictions of google, twitter, facebook and youtube as friendly and magical places seemed a little inaccurate in our troubled times of social media censorship, online spying and tech companies being in bed with the State. What do you think? Let us know!

The Divided States of Constant Mourning?

Here in the good old D.S.A (or Divided States of America for those unfamiliar with the abbreviation), it seems like you can’t go a week without the magic sky cloth (also known as The Federal Flag) being ordered to fly at half mast as a reminder of some “National Tragedy” which has befallen the Country. It’s getting so prevalent these days, that every flag fluttering in the breeze is practically in a perpetual state of half-mast, whether it be in front of Chick-Fil-A, the local Public Indoctrination Center or your friendly neighborhood 501(c)(3) Kingdom of Man Worshipping Church down the street.

My aim with saying this of course is to not be flippant about lives lost, even if it is for some political flunky who was responsible for countless civilians blown to pieces in a land far away, or for a dear leader who helped increase the military spending budget by 4.3 trillion dollars. Instead, it’s to make a point about  how often folks our humble little communities are constantly being reminded of disasters or governmental ineptitudes.

Common sense will tell you that if you incessantly nit-pick yourself or other people, or create a constant atmosphere of pessimism and worry, that you’re probably going to not only suffer from a lack of friends – but that you’re likely opening yourself up to a whole host of mental and physical ailments as well. And while I certainly want to be sympathetic to people five states away who may be going through some really tough times, the fact of the matter is this: each of our communities have a whole host of tragedies going on that we probably pay very little mind over, simply because we’ve been trained to think BIG.

You know the drill. I certainly do, because I once was there myself. If I can’t help feed a thousand people by Christmas, why do anything? If I can’t have a job that enables me to be adored by millions, I surely must be a failure. If I can’t help out those people who were in an earthquake 10,000 miles away, I’m a worthless human being. If my preferred guy or gal isn’t elected king or queen of the country, my outlook on the future is ruined.

The point in all of this is that we CAN be something special in our own homes and communities. As Brion McClanahan says, “Think Local, Act Local.” Sure, we can definitely help out other communities if we’re able, but we don’t have to become consumed with worry, fear or depression over stuff that’s happening thousands of miles away – simply because some back-slapper in a city a thousand miles away has decreed that it’s time for us to feel sad. Look for ways to be a light in your own homes, neighborhoods and towns. From local nursing homes to a local church that needs help serving the poor or those going through loss right in your own community, your people need you! Don’t get bogged down by stuff going on elsewhere – but get plugged in right where you’re at and make a difference today. You can do it.

Defusing a Second Civil War through Peaceful Secession?

secession, secede, peace, peaceful, graphic, meme, love, peaceful secession, hopeful future, graphic designSecession? Nullification? A second Civil War in the presently not-so United States of America? According to a historic and highly fascinating Abbeville Institute event that took place November 9 and 10, 2018 in Dallas, Texas, a number of influential American thinkers, political figures and activists gathered to discuss how peaceful secession and nullification could very well be one of the most important ways that Americans in the near future could potentially thrive. And despite the efforts of some, like thinkprogress.org (who had a supposed reporter by the name of Casey Michel visiting the event to lend their own predictable spin of distortions and omissions regarding the discussion), modern-day peaceful secession efforts could very well truly represent one of the ways to preserve our unique cultures and defuse the hostility and violence amongst different people groups.

As someone who has been involved in the secession and nullification movement (on both the left and the right) since around 2010, the Abbeville Institute was an event I personally couldn’t miss. Driving the 10+ hour trip to Dallas on Friday, opting to traverse the backroads through small towns, passing through the already somewhat seceded communities of native Americans in Oklahoma, and witnessing the flavor of life scattered throughout the hills and plains of the midwest, I couldn’t help but be thoughtfully impressed by the diversity of people that I encountered. Men, women, old, young. Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, Native American. Many areas could readily be seen as being predominantly Christian, with signs proclaiming the sanctity of life, or where one’s eternal destination might lay. But on the flip side in other more “progressive” urban areas, I could also see the glaring evidence of an unfortunate and obvious animosity between those who clearly don’t share the same views as their more conservative neighbors.

Of course, as we’ve all doubtless seen, our United States is just not that “united” anymore. Perhaps it never was. But with outbreaks of violence erupting across the nation, and a Cold Civil War of words, propaganda, elite news agencies, politicians and brother vs. brother views that best not be shared at family gatherings (lest angry words be exchanged and family members are forever snubbed for their right or left leanings), we ALL know something is wrong. But truthfully, for all of us whether on the left or the right, we just want to live in peace and stop having views we don’t like crammed down our throats.

Secession, Secede, America, Nullification, 2018Enter peaceful secession and nullification. Dr. Donald Livingston, founder of the Abbeville Institute, noted that in 1991, 15 states peacefully seceded from the Soviet Union and the world applauded. In Canada, Quebec nearly seceded in 1995, Scottish secession was narrowly defeated in 2014, Catalonian secession was voted on in 2017 and Brexit (the secession of England from the European Union) continues to be an important topic of discussion. “For over 2000 years, most governmental bodies were not much larger than the Athens city state. But since the French Revolution, governments have adopted attitudes of ‘monster states’.” The thought was that in America, new states or even city states – like Cantons in Switzerland – would be carved out of secession from older states. Says Thomas Jefferson to Dr. Joseph Priestley in January of 1804, Whether we remain in one confederacy, or form into Atlantic and Mississippi confederacies, I believe not very important to the happiness of either part. Those of the Western confederacy will be as much our children and descendents as those of the Eastern, and I feel myself as much identified with that country, in future time, as with this: and did I now foresee a separation at some future day, yet I should feel the duty and the desire to promote the Western interests as zealously as the Eastern, doing all the good for both portions of our future family which should fall within my power.

Allen Mendenhall, Associate Dean and Executive Director of the Blackstone Center for Law and Liberty at Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law noted how we are all trying to find and develop a place we want to live in. Perhaps the fighting can be defused through decentralization. Not only are decentralized systems more responsive and efficient, but they invite participation and more of a sense of community. “People don’t respond to abstractions. They don’t enjoy wine by thinking about it, but through tasting and experiencing it.” Mendenhall explained in regards to community and political systems. “We think about our immediate families, communities, and how we might achieve victories through these. Not through faraway, abstract notions of government or televangelists. But through familiar spaces we all can participate in, experience and help shape.”

Secession, Nullification, Conference, 2018Jeff Deist, President of the Mises Institute, an advocate and writer for property, markets, and civil society; Kirkpatrick Sale, a left leaning anti-globalist who is the author of Human Scale Revisited: A New Look at the Classic Case for a Decentralist Future; Michael Boldin, Founder and executive director of the Tenth Amendment Center, an organization who has helped launch the concept of nullification into more mainstream political thought in America; and Dan Fisher, a former member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives who ran for Governor of Oklahoma on a State Sovereignty platform were also on hand to speak, discuss and answer questions regarding the issues of secession and the future of America.

Attending the event were around 100 individuals comprised of university instructors, medical and technology professionals, historians, young people and more. Numerous questions were asked about strategies in elevating this important discussion, as well as how active participants in decentralization might move forward in the coming years. Talking with many attendees afterwards, the event clearly exceeded expectations, and was an amazing opportunity to network and form friendships with others on both the left and right who are concerned about our society moving forward. Later that evening, a number of individuals had the honor of sitting down with Dr. Livingston, and sharing a meal with this titan of modern American philosophical thought. The discussion ranged from Tolkien and themes of Industrialization and Agrarianism in the Lord of the Rings, to how language impacts the perception of ideas.

Marcus Ruiz Evans, California Secession, Calexit, Yes CaliforniaAs Marcus Ruiz Evans, a more left-wing founder of the California Secession Movement “Yes California” noted (and who was conveniently and entirely omitted by thinkprogress.org report of the event at the time of writing this article), “We can’t sit on the sidelines. This isn’t a left or right problem. This an everyone problem!” Ruiz, who claims around 43,000 people support Yes California (also known as Calexit), with around 1/3 of Californians in general supporting secession, noted that the group often oddly gets side lined by the mainstream media. “But even if we may not agree,” Ruiz states, “we can support YOUR RIGHT – irregardless of left or right – to have your own community. We should be proud of who we are, and be able to live in peace.” Amen to that.

Note: Libertopia Graphics would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Donald Livingston and the Abbeville Institute, as well as all the speakers who delivered such thought provoking messages on this timely and important topic. Thank YOU all!

VOTE or we’re ALL DOOMED!

vote, youth vote, millennials, rock the vote, art, graphic design

Galactic Imperium News FLASH: In a bid to leverage a few more critical youth votes, the Democrapic Party and various rich and powerful social media entities unveiled the above new ad on the eve of the mid-term elections. Says Flower Pharts, Democrapic Committee Chair Woman, “We really believe that this is a critical crossroads in our Mob-Rule Democracy. Either Millennials get out and vote, or we’re all Doomed!”

Pharts could later be seen shouting hysterically at a group of Generation Xers, admonishing them for being suspicious of authority and not giving a rip about “the man”. “It’s YOUR Fault we’re in this mess!” She screamed, clutching her hair. “The world teeters on the brink of disaster like it has on every other election cycle, and here Generation X sits and does NOTHING!”

Meanwhile, the Resputlican Party also attempted to warn voters the tragedy about to befall them if Democrapics were to gain any kind of influence in the Empire. In an event hosted across the street from the Democrapic HQ, Nate Nee O’Kahn gyrated and pranced about the stage bemoaning the horrific tragedies that would befall civilization if the Democraps were to win. “If you want to see Stalinist Gulags on every corner, just stay home and don’t vote for us.”

Note: The above advertisement and subsequent “news release” is a work of parody or satire, and is not to be taken as factual news. Although, if you already happen to get your news from MSN, CNN or FOX, then you probably already recognized this as a piece of *cough* fake news *cough*…:)

The Largest Secessionist Conference in America!

Secession, Nullification, Conference, 2018

Are you tired of people from another State halfway across the country trying to dictate to YOU on how they think you should live? Frustrated by all the left vs. right nonsense that happens every time another federal election rolls around? If so, perhaps it’s time to start thinking optimistically about the future through your state peacefully withdrawing from a broken and abusive relationship! Break free from the establishment propaganda, and discover the truth from such exciting voices in America like Michael Boldin, Donald Livingston, Dan Fisher, Allen Mendenhall, Jeff Deist, Kirkpatrick Sale and Marcus Ruiz Evans!

From Abbeville Institute: “The secession of 15 states from the Soviet Union in 1991 was the greatest peaceful revolution in modern history. Secession and decentralist movements are firmly entrenched throughout Europe. Discourse of secession and state interposition to federal tyranny is now mainstream in America on the left and right. Are we witnessing a paradigm shift away from runaway centralization? Join us for a thoughtful discussion of secession and the prospects for decentralization in the United States.”  Lectures and Discussion Saturday, November 10 beginning at 9 am, break for lunch and ending at 4:30. Conference fee is $95 includes lunch, coffee, and cost of speakers. For those arriving Friday evening there will be a “meet and greet the speakers” gathering in the Bond Room for an informal discussion of the topic–add $25 to Conference fee. You may register online by clicking HERE.

NOTE: Also, get your secession gear for the upcoming conference at the libertopia store (libertopia store and libertopia cartoons is unaffiliated with Abbeville Institute. This post is simply for informational purposes only)!
